Draft for review
This page is a working draft prepared for client review. It has not been checked by a lawyer. Any timing or specification marked provisional needs supplier confirmation before launch.
Returns and Refunds
Stampora cards are personalised goods. They are printed to order from your photograph and cannot be resold to anyone else. That shapes the whole of this policy. Read the three sections below before you order.
1. Cancellations on personalised goods
Personalised goods cannot be cancelled once production starts.
Production starts when you approve your digital proof. Up to that moment you can cancel for a full refund by emailing info@stampora.us with your order number. After that moment the card is being made for you alone, and the order is final.
Buyer’s-remorse returns are not accepted on personalised items. Changing your mind, choosing the wrong finish, picking a photograph you later dislike, or no longer needing the card for its occasion are not grounds for a refund.
The proof stage exists for exactly this reason. Check the spelling of every name, the numbers, the dates, the crop and the finish before you approve. What you approve is what gets printed.
What is not a cancellation
- Asking for a change before you approve a proof. That is a revision, and it is normal.
- Reporting a fault after delivery. That is covered in section 2.
- An unused digital gift card. Gift cards from $25 to $250 are not personalised goods. Contact support if a gift card was bought in error.
2. Manufacturing defects and print errors
Manufacturing defects and print errors are remade or refunded within 30 days of delivery.
That is the store’s guarantee, and it applies whether the fault is in the print, the finish or the encasing. Stampora chooses between a remake and a refund after reviewing the evidence, and will tell you which it is offering and why.
Covered
- Print defects such as banding, streaking, misregistration, ink flooding or visible dust marks in the image area.
- Finish faults on Cracked Ice Holographic, Rainbow Prism Holographic or Liquid Metal Foil, such as lifting, bubbling or patchy coverage.
- Cutting or centring faults outside the store’s stated tolerance.
- Cracked, clouded or unsealed cases on Premium Encased cards and on the sealed hard display case and sealed case with display stand add-ons.
- The wrong card, wrong finish, wrong add-on or wrong quantity against your approved proof and order.
- Damage that happened in transit, reported promptly with photographs.
Not covered
- Faults that were visible on the proof you approved, including typing errors, cropping choices and colour direction you signed off.
- Softness, noise, blur or low resolution that came from the photograph you uploaded. Stampora prints what you supply.
- Normal variation between a screen and a printed surface. Screens emit light, cards reflect it, and holographic finishes shift with viewing angle by design.
- Wear, bending, scratching, sun fading or liquid damage after delivery.
- Reports made more than 30 days after delivery.
3. How to report a problem
Report within 30 days of delivery. The faster you write, the easier it is to trace the batch.
- Email info@stampora.us. Put your order number in the subject line.
- Describe the fault in one or two plain sentences.
- Attach photographs. A full front of the card in even daylight, a close crop of the fault, and a shot of the packaging if the parcel was damaged. For a holographic or foil fault, add a second angle so the finish is readable.
- Keep the card and the packaging until the claim is closed. You may be asked to return the item, and return postage on a confirmed defect is covered by Stampora.
Stampora aims to acknowledge a claim within 2 business days and to give a decision within 5 business days of receiving your photographs (provisional, pending supplier confirmation). A remade card re-enters production at the front of the queue. An approved refund is issued to the original payment method.
If a claim is declined you will be told the reason in writing. You can reply with more evidence and the claim will be looked at again.
Refund mechanics
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. Stampora cannot refund to a different card or account.
- Bank posting times are set by your bank, not by Stampora.
- Where only part of an order is faulty, only that part is refunded. Volume discounts of 12 percent at 2 or more cards, 22 percent at 5 or more and 30 percent at 10 or more are recalculated against the cards you keep.
- Shipping paid on the original order is refunded when the whole order is faulty.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live. Custom and personalised goods are commonly treated differently from stock goods under those laws, which is why cancellation is restricted here.
Returns questions
Can I cancel after I approve my proof?
No. Personalised goods cannot be cancelled once production starts, and production starts at proof approval.
My card arrived with a scratch on the foil. What now?
Email support within 30 days of delivery with photographs. Manufacturing defects and print errors are remade or refunded within 30 days of delivery.
The colours look different from my screen.
That on its own is not a defect. Screens emit light and cards reflect it, and holographic finishes shift with angle by design.
I misspelled a name on the proof.
A fault you approved is not covered. You can order a replacement card at the normal price.
Do I have to send the card back?
Sometimes. If a return is needed on a confirmed defect, Stampora covers the return postage.
Still deciding
If anything above is unclear, ask before you order rather than after.
